What Stays On Your Mac
DeadStick Utilities scans only when you start a scan: Smart Scan (recommended common cache, log, download and build locations), Full System Scan (accessible files on your startup disk) or Custom Scan (folders you choose). Scanning only reads, and protected and inaccessible locations are skipped. File contents, file names, file paths, sizes, duplicate comparisons, scan results and Recovery records stay on your Mac. The app does not send them to DeadStick.
Files you move to Recovery are held on their original volume until you restore, export or permanently delete them.
What We Do Not Have
- No DeadStick account.
- No analytics.
- No advertising.
- No company-operated cloud service.
DeadStick Utilities has no background agent. It runs when you open it.
Subscriptions
Apple processes subscription purchases, renewals, cancellations and refunds. DeadStick does not receive your payment card or billing details. Apple's handling of that information is governed by Apple's own terms and privacy policy.
Support Export
A support export is created only when you choose to create one, and you save it locally yourself. Nothing is sent automatically. Review it before sharing it, and do not include personal files, passwords or payment details in a support message.
Website And Support Email
Visits to this website and support messages you send voluntarily are covered by the DeadStick Digital privacy policy.
Children
DeadStick Utilities is a general utility app and is not directed to children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
