Your data

Account & data deletion

DeadStick Digital does not operate app-content accounts or keep a readable copy of your app content on a DeadStick server. Your content lives on your own devices and, if you opted in, in your own cloud account. Apple and RevenueCat may separately process limited purchase and subscription records. This page explains how to address each kind of data.

Short version: uninstall the app to remove its local database. If you turned on iCloud or Google Drive sync, delete the app's container/folder in that service to remove the remote copy. We never receive either content copy. Purchase and subscription records are separate; use the steps below or send a privacy request when provider-held data is involved.

BillingBird

BillingBird stores clients, invoices, receipts, and attachments in an on-device database on iPhone. Optional private iCloud backup stores an additional copy in your own Apple account. DeadStick Digital cannot read either copy. iPadOS, macOS, Android, and Windows support is planned; deletion steps for those platforms will be published when those releases ship.

  • iPhone. Long-press BillingBird, then choose Remove AppDelete App to remove the app and its local container from that device.
  • Private iCloud copy. On iPhone, open SettingsApple AccountiCloudManage Account StorageBillingBirdDelete Data. This removes BillingBird's private iCloud copy.
  • Export first, if you want. Before deleting, you can export your full records as a .billingbird archive from Settings → Export.
  • BillingBird Pro subscription record. Apple and RevenueCat may retain an automatically generated app-user identifier, Apple purchase receipt, and entitlement history separately from your bookkeeping. Deleting BillingBird or its iCloud data does not cancel a subscription. Manage or cancel it through your Apple Account subscriptions. For an access or deletion request involving RevenueCat data, use the privacy-request path below; after verification, DeadStick will direct the provider to process the associated customer record where applicable law permits.

CarrierPigeonVPN

CarrierPigeonVPN does not store your traffic, destinations, or metadata anywhere — not on your devices, not on ours. The only local state is pairing configuration: WireGuard keys and the identifier of the phone you paired with.

  • Clear pairing. Open the desktop or phone companion → SettingsClear pairing. This deletes the WireGuard keypair and paired device identifier from the system keychain on both devices.
  • Remove the apps. Uninstalling CarrierPigeonVPN from either device wipes all keychain entries associated with that install.

Document Vault

Document Vault stores scanned pages, OCR text, translations, generated PDFs, folders, tags, and indexes in a local document vault. DeadStick Digital does not keep a server-side copy of your Document Vault documents.

  • On-device. Uninstalling Document Vault removes the local document vault and its stored page assets from that device.
  • Export first, if you want. Before deleting, export any documents or PDFs you want to keep from Document Vault's document vault.
  • Future private sync copies. If you enable optional iCloud or Google Drive sync in a later version, delete Document Vault's app container or hidden app data from that provider to remove the remote copy.

Holos Drive Vault

Holos Drive Vault stores recovery material in operating-system credential stores and writes drive setup files only to the removable drive you choose. DeadStick Digital does not keep a server-side account, drive-key escrow, drive-content backup, or telemetry profile for Holos Drive Vault.

  • On-device apps. Uninstalling Holos Drive Vault removes the app. If you want to remove recovery keys as well, delete keychain items for com.holosdrive.recovery in Apple Keychain or any HolosDrive_* entries in Windows Credential Manager.
  • iCloud Keychain copy. If iCloud Keychain sync is enabled, deleting the Holos Drive Vault keychain item from a signed-in Apple device with sync enabled removes the synced keychain copy through Apple's normal keychain sync process.
  • Drive contents. To delete the encrypted drive vault itself, erase or reformat the external drive using Disk Utility, Holos Drive Vault, or your operating system's disk tools. Export anything you want to keep before erasing.
  • Recovery contact file. If you entered recovery contact information, remove the public contact file from the drive's setup partition or erase that partition.

Our website

This site serves only static pages and does not create cookies, analytics profiles, or accounts. When you submit the contact form on the homepage, your name, email, selected topic, and message are delivered to us over TLS via our form provider (Web3Forms), stored briefly for transit, and then read only by a person at DeadStick Digital. To delete your message from our inbox after we have replied, send us a note asking us to do so and we will remove the thread.

Where to send a deletion request

If you cannot complete one of the steps above, send a note through the contact form with the topic Privacy request. Because DeadStick does not hold your app content, most requests are answered with the relevant device or cloud steps. When limited subscription information is held by a provider, we will explain any verification needed and direct the provider to process a valid request.
