Built for the job

What BillingBird helps you do

Create professional invoices in minutes

Build polished invoices with line items and tax rules, and share clean, professional PDFs your clients can read on the first pass.

Stay on top of balances, payments, and receipts

See what’s billed, due, and overdue at a glance. Record payments as they come in, and scan receipts with your phone to attach them to invoices.

Keep your working records under your control

Your books live on your iPhone — private by design. Optional iCloud backup uses your own Apple account, not a readable DeadStick bookkeeping database.

A simple contractor workflow

  1. Create the invoice. Build a polished, professional invoice with line items, tax, and totals in minutes.
  2. Record the payment. Log full or partial payments as they come in, so every balance stays current.
  3. Attach the receipts. Scan receipts with your phone and attach them to invoices, so costs stay with the job.
  4. Stay organized. Clients, invoices, payments, and receipts in one place — always up to date.

The launch version lets you record manual payments. Online payment collection is planned for a later release.

Your books stay yours

BillingBird is a privacy-first app, designed to meet applicable government security standards — including the NIAP Protection Profile for Application Software and FIPS 140-3 cryptography through Apple’s built-in platform corecrypto. No custom cryptography, and no government certification is claimed.

No BillingBird account is required for day-to-day work. DeadStick Digital does not operate a server-side bookkeeping database of your invoices, receipts, clients, or reports. Apple provides App Store and optional iCloud services; RevenueCat may provide subscription entitlement checks separately from your records.

FAQ

Do I need a BillingBird account?

No. BillingBird is built so your working records live on your device. Optional private iCloud backup uses your Apple account when you enable it.

Does BillingBird work offline?

Yes. Core invoicing, receipt capture, client records, and manual payment logging are designed to keep working without a network connection. Features that depend on Apple services (such as iCloud backup or App Store purchases) need connectivity when you use them.

Where is my data stored? What about iCloud?

Active books stay in private app storage on your iPhone. If you enable optional private iCloud backup, an additional copy is stored in your own Apple account. DeadStick Digital does not receive a readable server-side copy of those bookkeeping records.

Can I export my records?

Yes. You can export professional PDFs for clients and a full .billingbird archive of your records from Settings when you need a portable copy.

How do payments work at launch?

The launch version lets you record manual payments. Online payment collection is planned for a later release.

Which platforms are supported?
